| Danielle is a well balanced student athlete who is able to manage her time between academics and her soccer commitments extremely well. She plans to pursue a degree is sports medicine or physical education in the Fall 2010 that matches a competitive soccer program with high academic standards. She is an incredibly versatile player, possessing both the physical and technical ability to play anywhere across the midfield. She is most effective as an attacking midfielder, allowing her to utilize her extensive range of passing, ball winning capabilities and aerial strength. Unlike a large percentage of young players, Danielle has an excellent tactical understanding and often thinks ahead of the ball to anticipate passes and opportunities to steal possession, which increases her effectiveness in the final third as well as maximizing her time in possession. An intelligent young lady, Danielle analyses her game greatly and is always seeking support and advice as to how she can improve her performances, constantly driving herself to greater goals. Danielle has been playing with the Barrie soccer club for 8 years which has played both in the OYSL and CGSL divisions. Her team played several tournaments in 2009 coming runner up at the Mississauga International and Barrie Spirit Fest. Her commitment and level of competition will make her an asset to any college or university program. She has won numerous athletic awards including high school athlete of the year in 2006 and 2007 and qualified for OFFSA in cross country. Danielle is currently in her senior year where she maintains a 3.0 GPA and will be writing her SAT test in November.
