| Olivia is a well-rounded student athlete who excels both academically and athletically. In the fall of 2010 she plans to persue a degree
in kinesiology, specializing in human kinectics and physiology , matching a competitive varsity hockey program
with high academic standards. In 2006/2007 Olivia played for the Huntsville Blues (Bantam Boys rep) where they captured a provincial
championship, as well as finalists at the International Silver Stick where Olivia was voted All Star goalie for the tournament.
In 2008 she played for the Midget AA Barrie Sharks who were Ontario Winter Games Bronze medal finalists. In 2007/2008 Olivia
received the junior athlete of the year, and in 08/09 received her excellence award for outstanding performance in basketball, vollyball, hockey, soccer,
tennis, golf and badminton. She is currently enrolled in the High Preformance Program at Silverthorn Collegiate Institute in Toronto, and playing for the Mississauga Jr. Chiefs in the PWHL Women's Hockey League. Olivia will be attending her second year at John Elkin's Goalie School in July. John has helped Olivia devolop key goal-tending skills with a focus on consistant positioning and effective movement around the crease, reading the play, proper puck movement, and rebound control. His training also has improved her overall athletic ability, focus and mental toughness. The 2009/2010 season will be a busy year of showcase tournaments, and league games, as Olivia is projected to be the starting goalie for the Chiefs. She has obtained a 3.0 GPA throughout high school and will be writing her SAT test in September.
