| Kamiya is a well rounded student athlete who excels both academically and athletically. Her main objective is to attend a reputable university or college to obtain a degree in business in the fall 2009. She wants to extend and expand her soccer career and play at the highest level possible while receiving a quality education. Kamiya is a defender who predominantly plays in the middle but is comfortable on either side. Her great vision, intelligence, tactical awareness, and communication with her team mates makes her a leader on the field. Kamiya played for the U 18 OYSL Barrie Spirit last year where 6 of the players are currently on a scholarship in the US. She decided to attend high school for another year before entering university or college in the Fall 2010.
