| Caitlyn s a well rounded student athlete who excels both academically and athletically. Her main objective is to obtain a degree in physical therapy from a well acclaimed university or college commencing in Fall 2010. She wants to advance her tennis career, play at a high collegiate level and receive a quality education. Caitlyn is a resilient player who uses many styles of playing to adapt to each match situation. She is well-trained in a forceful groundstroke game-style as well as an aggressive net player. Caitlyn has a determined work ethic and a constructive attitude. Caitlyn is currently training at the Simcoe Tennis Academy under the guidance of Johnny Glanville who was a former head coach at the Cash Hopper Academy and Players Edge in Toronto. Coach Glanville describes Caitlyn as the type of player that only comes along every once in a very long while. She displays a work ethic and focus that is incredibly rare. Having only first picked up a racket at age 14 she has worked incredibly hard to become a solid player with well defined technical ground strokes, a superior service motion, and an athleticism that is second to none. Her aggressive style is nicely balanced by an ability to defend and neutralize even the biggest hitters. Her attitude and coachability outshines any other player I have ever encountered, she is a team player and driven to succeed with the same kind of determination only seen in the worlds best. Her only shortcomings are due to her late start in the sport and lack of competitive experience, which is why her results are modest at this point. She is a star in the making. " In addition to Caitlyn's athletic achievements, she has many academic accomplishments including obtaining a 4.0 GPA throughout high school and recently nominated by her school to attend the people to people leadership summit 2009 in Washington that helps prepare the world's most promising young people for the opportunities and responsibilities ahead.
