| Jack hails from a golf family whose dad is a CPGA professional and owner operator of Fort Erie Golf Club. He plans to pursue a degree in business / accounting in the Fall of 2009, that matches a competitive golf program with high academic standards. Jack has had lots of experience through the years playing tournaments at the national, provincial, and local levels. In 2003 he finished T 33 at the US kids world golf championships leading to many victories in 2004-2007 playing events at the CJGA, OGA, Niagara, Dunlop, and Maple Leaf junior tours. In 2008 Jack had impressive results at the Ontario Junior Tour Championship finishing 2nd with rounds of 63, 69, 72, 70, and 5th at the Ontario Junior Better ball. He finished 2nd on the Niagara District Junior Tour with rounds of 66 at Port Colborne ( low round of the year ) 68 at Lochness Links and 71 at Sawmill. Jack finished the season with a scoring average of 71.25. In high school golf as a senior he finished 2nd at the SOSSA district Championships and 18th at OFSAA ( Ontario Championships with rounds of 73 and 77 with a field of 119. Coach John White CPGA professional who has coached jack over the last 3 years describes Jack as being very solid fundamentally, someone who works extremely hard at improving his game, and an extremely long and powerful hitter. He will be a great asset to any collegiate program. Jack currently obtains a 4.0 GPA and scored 940 on his SAT ( math and reading ) and is projected to score above 1050 when he writes again in May.
