| Kayse is a defender who is extremely versatile playing in the middle or on either side. possessing both the physical and technical ability to play within any defensive system. Kayse is very comfortable within a zonal or conventional defensive system either with a sweeper or in a 3 or 4 man zonal defence, where she covers a specific area of the pitch, and man to man marking, where she has the job of covering a certain player. Kayse also provides an attacking outlet by getting up field along the wings providing crosses. Her strong physical presence, aggressive tackling, anticipation, and ability to read earned her MVP honors playing for the U 15 Coastal WFC who participate in the North American Super Y-League (SYL) of the United Soccer League (USL) from April to August. The SYL is the highest level youth league in North America. In November 2008 Kayse's team qualified for Super Y North American Championship (Soccerfest) in Tampa Bay, Florida where they represented Vancouver and the province and finished 2nd in their division. Her team has played in various showcase tournaments throughout the years coming 2nd at the Las Vegas Mayor's Cup in 2007 and winning the Seattle Starfire Labor Day tournament. Kayse was selected to the Super Y-League Olympic Development Program in 2008 to represent her region. Coach Ajit Braich describes Kayse as a player with excellent distribution skills, strong in the air and a great communicator . She has a great personality with exceptional work ethic and highly self motivated. Kayse will be a great asset to any college or university program in the Fall 2009. Kayse is currently in her senior year of high school where she maintains a 3.5 GPA .
