| Chad is a well rounded student athlete who excels both academically and athletically. His main objective is to pursue a degree in business in the fall 2009 that matches a competitive golf program with high academic standards. In 2007 Chad finished 2nd in the Canada Cup Qualifier, which earned him a spot on the CJGA Team East Canada which defeated the West in the Eastern Championships played at Glen Abbey in Ryder Cup team format. Chad was also crowned the 2007 Pepsi Titlest Tour Champion winner at the event, winning the Barrie CC with a round of 77, 2nd at South Muskoka with a 76, and 3rd at Glenway with a round of 70. The tour was played at seven courses and had an average of 40 players in each event. In 2008 Chad finished 3rd in the Mizuno CJGA National Golf Champions at National Pines with rounds of 74, 76, 76, and 81 on a difficult course and finished 19th / 80 at the Greens and Dreams Invitational shooting 73,76,76, and 78. Chad's strong swing fundamentals, passion, and motivation will make his transition from junior golf to the collegiate golf level a smooth process that will make him a valuable recruit to any program. In addition to his athletic achievements, Chad has many academic accomplishments. He has obtained a 3.8 GPA which has earned him honor role status throughout high school and scored 1020 on the SAT (math and reading) and is rewriting in December.
