| Ethan is a well rounded student athlete who excels both academically and athletically. His main objective is to obtain a degree from a well acclaimed US university or college in business or math. Ethan wants to extend and expand his tennis career and play at the NCAA 2 or NAIA level while receiving a quality education. Ethan is currently training at the Simcoe Tennis Academy under the guidance of Johnny Glanville who was a former head coach at the Cash Hopper Academy in Australia and Players Edge in Toronto. Coach Glanville describes Ethan as " highly talented player who possesses the type of game style and skill sets to challenge and defeat top level International players. Since carving out his aggressive style Ethan has developed a big serve and forehand that allows him to dictate play from the first shot in a point. As he continues to adjust to his growing frame and fills out physically he will come closer to reaching his potential. He is what I would consider a player with huge up-potential due to his fine touch, refined technique, and athleticism. Think Nuke Laloosh in Bull Durham and you have Ethan who is currently working on control and increasing his match experience. I feel he would be a valuable long term asset to any school. Ethan has played several U 18 and Men's tournaments recently defeating top 25 player 6-4, 6-3 before losing to the 6th ranked player in the province 6-4, 6-2. He has won the tennis MVP at high school in grades 9 through 11 and won the GBSSA regional championships to qualify for the provincial championships. Ethan currently maintains a 3.9 GPA in his senior year and will be writing his SAT test in December. . Please contact us anytime if you require any additional information regarding Ethan's academic or athletic status. |
