She is currently training at Player's Edge ( a tennis Canada designated tennis development centre) under the guidance of Bill Cowan a former Canadian Davis Cup Player and Mark Assaraf who has coached numerous top ranked juniors and touring pros. Madeline's highest ranking reached # 22 in Ontario and she will be playing many tournaments in the next few years in the US and Canada to get the match experience needed to play at the collegiate level. She recently won a OTA tournament at the Mississauga Golf and Country club and was a finalist at Blackmore, and finished 4th at the OTA U16 event. Madeline reached the 2nd round of the Ontario Junior Closed Provincial Championships after beating the # 31 ranked junior 6-4, 7-5. Her main objective is to pursue a degree in physical education or sports management while playing tennis in a competitive environment.
