| Kelly is a strong and aggresive player who uses powerful ground strokes from the baseline. She has an excellent work ethic and a positive attitude. Kelly is presently training with tennis professional, Moe Vijaykumar who coaches top ATP and WTA players. Kelly is training four hours a day on court and conditioning another two hours. She had a successful summer improving her game, reaching three OTA finals in the STF #1 where she lost to Joelle Fisher, 7-5, 6-3 (Kelly subsequently beat her in a three star tournament) , the Toronto Mega City where she lost to Tina Petkova, 6-2, 6-3, and the STA #5 where she lost to Megan Bodeau, 7-5, 6-1. Kelly played in the U 18 provincials where she beat #13 ranked Stacey Gayne, 2-6, 6-1, 6-4, before losing to Maria Milic, who is ranked top 5 in Canada. After playing more tournaments this summer, her ranking has now cracked the top 20. Kelly graduated high school with an 87% average, which should make her eligible for academic assistance. She is writing her SAT's in October. Kelly will be a terrific asset to any college or university for the fall of 2004. Please contact us if you would like video disc of Kelly. |
