He has been playing for elite teams for the past several seasons, competing against teams from various parts of Canada, New York State, Ohio and Massachusetts. He won the award as top hitter for the Ottawa White Sox in 2001 and batted a .486 for the Ottawa - Nepean Canadians (American Legion) in the summer of 2002. In 2002, Jonathan played for the Ottawa - Nepean Canadians (Stan Musial) in the Canada - New York League (25 games) and played over 60 games with the Canadians in the Canada New York League. Jonathan has been invited to play for the Canadian National Team that will be competing in the Maccabia games in Chile in December 2003. He won MVP playing High School baseball and had a record .700 batting average last spring. Jonathan is currently being scouted by many Universities and Colleges. He is looking for a school with a strong Liberal Arts/Business program where he can receive a great degree.
